Sitzend auf einem hohen Sockel. Die Hände in bhumisparsa und dhyâna mudrâ, die Haare als feine Spitzen gestaltet. Das Gewand in feinem Relief angedeutet mit der Schärpe über der linken Schulter. Buddha in dieser Größe in Trockenlack sind äußerst selten in Sammlungen im Westen zu finden. Höhe 98cm. Zustand A/B. Provenienz: -Berliner Privatsammlung. 1975-78 vor Ort erworben. Literatur: -R. The elegantly elongated hands in bhumisparsa and dhyâna mudrâ, the hair shown as fine tips. The garment in relief with the sash over the left shoulder.
