Einlagen auf urna und ushnisha, Augen aus hintermaltem Glas. Sitzend in Meditationshaltung mit den Händen in jôbon jôshô-Geste auf einem separaten, hohen Lotosthron. Der Buddha Amida ist Herrscher über das Westliche Paradies Sukhâvatî. Seine Handhaltung, von der es neun Variationen gibt, definiert die Position der Seelen der Gläubigen im Paradies. Höhe gesamt 57cm. Zustand A/B. Die Größe der Figur lässt darauf schließen, dass es sich um ein Stück für den Tempel oder den Hausaltar einer hochstehenden Familie handelt. The Buddha Amida of the Western Paradise Sukhâvatî is sitting in meditation posture with hands in jôbon jôshô gesture on a separate high lotus throne. His hand gesture, of which exist nine variations, defines the position of the souls of the believers in paradise. Total height 57cm. Condition A/B.
