Zwischen dichten Ranken mit Lotosblüten fliegen vier große Tiere, die als Phönix oder Drache gedeutet werden können. Am Rand eine Bordüre mit gewellten Blättern. Ø 45,5cm. Zustand B. Randchip auf der Unterseite. Die Platte wurde vermutlich als eingebaute Tischplatte oder Wand- dekoration verwendet. Provenienz: -Deutsche Privatsammlung, seit den 1930er Jahren. EXEPTIONELL BIG ROUND PORCELAIN PLATE. China. Qing dynasty. 19th c. Porcelain finely painted in underglaze blue. Backside unglazed. Between dense lotus scrolls four huge animals flying, which might be interpreted as phoenix or dragons. The rim with a leaf border. Ø 45.5cm. Condition B. Chip on the back. The plate might have been inlayed in a table or as a wall decoration.
