On four high legs in the shape of fish dragons. On the body in relief taotie masks, the high domed lid with a shizi with brocade ball as handle. The openwork to the lid in shape of the eight trigrams. The two handles on the edge stand vertically. Height 45cm. Kupfer und Bronze, teils mit Resten von Vergoldung und schwarzer Patina. Von quadratischer Grundform. Der zweiteilige Deckel fein durchbrochen mit Lotosranken und den Schriftzeichen für Langes Leben (shou). Der Unterteil und der breite waagrechte Rand mit ähnlichem Design, allerdings in flachem Relief. Füße in Form von eingerollten yinglong- Drachen, wie auch die Handhabe auf dem Deckel. Höhe 41,5cm. Xuande-Marke, aber später. Zustand A/B. ELEGANT CENSER. China. Qing dynasty (1644-1911). Tripartite. Copper and bronze, partly with residue of gilding and black patina. Square shape. The bipartite lid in openwork with lotos scrolls and the character for long life (shou). The base part with a wide horizontal edge, with a similar design, but in flat relief. The feet in the shape of yinglong-dragons, as well as the handle of the lid. Height 41.5cm. Xuande mark, but later.
