2085 MUSEALER JADEBECHER MIT BRONZEMONTIERUNG. China. Wohl westliche Han-Dynastie. Ca. 2.-1. Jh. v. Chr. Helle, teils opake Jade mit Kalzifizierungen. Fein geschnitzt und poliert. Bronzemotierung vergoldet. Der hohe Becher ist in zwei Abschnitte unterteilt durch die Montierung mit Henkel mit Raubtierantlitz und einem angehängten beweglichen Ring an einer taotie-Maske. In beiden Abschnitten sind umlaufend Tiere in einer abstrahierten Landschaft unter Wolken dargestellt. Auf dem oberen Teil zwei Ochsen, ein Affe und Vögel, auf dem unteren Register ein Bär, ein Tiger und ein Drache. Auf dem leicht gewölbten Deckel die Darstellung eines liegenden Panthers, außerdem drei fenghuang-Vögel aus Bronze. In den kurzen Beinen sind Schmucksteine eingelegt, die evtl. ergänzt wurden. Höhe 19,5cm. Zustand A/B. Beilage: Passender Aufbewahrungskasten. Stilistisch gleicht der Becher Stücken der Han-Dynastie. Die Kalzifizierungen der Jade, Erdanhaftungen und der Zustand der Bronze sprechen für seine Authentizität. Vergleiche: In der Sammlung des Harvard Art Museums/Arthur M. Sackler Museum befindet sich unter Obj. Nr. 1943.51.22 ein ähnlich gestalteter Becher, allerdings von flacherer Form. MUSEUM JADE CUP WITH BRONZE MOUNTING. China. Probably Western Han dynasty. Ca. 2nd/1st c. BC. Bright, buff colored, partly opaque jade with calcifications. Finely carved and polished. Bronze mounting gilt. The high cup is divided into two sections with a handle with a carnivore face and a movable ring in a taotie mask. In both sections different animals in an abstracted landscape under clouds. On the upper part two oxen, a monkey and birds, on the lower register a bear, a tiger and a dragon. On the slightly arched lid a liying panther and three fenghuang birds from bronze. In the stout legs with inlayed stones, which might have been replaced. Condition A/B. The style of this cup is similar to other Han dynasty jades. The calcifications of the jade, the earth incrustations and the corrostion of bronze speak for its authenticity. Compare: The collection of the Harvard Art Museum/Arthur M. Sackler Museum. Under Object No. 1943.51.22 a similarly decorated cup, but from lower shape. 銅鎏金鑲玉杯 可能為西漢 約公元前1至2世紀 通高19.5cm/杯身直徑7.6cm 半透明白玉，帶鈣化玉沁。整器分杯身與 杯蓋兩部分，杯身的口沿和足部均鑲鎏金 銅，中部鎏金環兩側分別一獸面銜耳環和 獸首圈柄，並將器身分隔成兩段飾瑞獸紋 的通景浮雕。銅鎏金杯蓋嵌三段玉環，頂 部立瑞獸玉坐像，四周圍繞三隻鳳凰。三 短足鑲寶石。配錦盒。 此杯雕工精細，瑞獸刻畫栩栩如生，可比 漢朝時期同類玉器。鈣化玉沁及鎏金銅的 材質符合此年代特徵。 參見哈佛藝術博物館收藏號為1943.51.22 的造型構造類似玉杯。 € 10.000 - 15.000 | $ 10.900 - 16.350
