In fein und detailliert geschnitzten Auflagen aus vorwiegend weißem und etwas rosé-grünlich schimmerndem Perlmutt, leuchtend grünem und etwas Bernstein blühende Pfirsichzweige und zwei großen Pfirsiche, dazu auf der anderen Seite der steifer Fächer der Seiôbo mit farbig hintermaltem Horn, feine Ranken zeigend. Of detailed and delicately carved applications of mostly white and some pink-greenish shimmering mother-ofpearl, brilliant green and some amber, blooming peach branches and two large peaches, on the other side with the stiff fan of Seiôbo with horn reverse painted in colors, displaying delicate vines. A large temple complex in mountainous landscape between a crest, overgrown with blooming cherry trees and slopes overgrown on both sides of a winding river course, extending to ‘jô’ and ‘ge’. Über einem dichten Nashiji-Fond in feiner Gold-Hiramakie mit wenig Gyobu akzentuiert Uguisu (Nachtigall) sitzend auf einem kräftigen Ast, umgeben von blühenden Pflaumenzweigen, die Blüten eingelegt aus weißlichem Perlmutt und Knospen aus Koralle, auf der Rückseite ein Spatz hinzufliegend. Innen Nashiji. H.9cm. Zustand B. Wenig berieben und matt. Beilage: Ojime mattes rotes Glas als Korallen-Imitation. INRÔ: SIX-PART, LIGHT NASHIJI WITH MOTHER-OF-PEARL INLAYS. Japan. Edo period. On a dense Nashiji ground a delicate gold-Hiramakie, accentuated with some Gyobu Uguisu (nightingale) sitting on a strong branch, surrounded by blooming plum branches, the blossoms inlaid with whitish mother-of-pearl and buds made of coral.
