KLEINE SCHALE IN BLÜTENFORM. China. Ceramic with seladon green glaze in the style of Guanyao. Spreading and with a five-fold lobed edge, on a small foot which is intended inwards. The pale blue, crazed glaze is transparent in thinner layer at the lip and lets the dark body shine through. The coarse-meshed craquelure in bright iron red. Height 3.4cm, Ø 9cm. Thin-walled dark ceramic with light green glaze with craquelure. Bellied body on high, wide foot ring. The mouth is expanding funnel-like and ends in a thin lip. Guan ware impresses with elegant forms, which highlight the beautiful color of the glaze, in this case a seladon-green, and the large-meshed craquelure. Height 11cm, Ø 15cm. Condition C.
