Ca. 15th c. Copper bronze with dark patina. In seven-part Bodhisattva jewels with a lotus flower on each shoulder. Her right hand in the mudrâ of generosity, her right foot placed on a separate lotus, as symbol of her readiness to act. Height 9.5cm. Bronze with residue of cold painting, silver plating at the jewelry and yogi cord, with stones. Standing in tribhanga on a double lotus. Crowned and with seven-part jewelry, around his shoulder a yogi cord, the loincloth in decorative folds. Base probably originally closed and filled. It might be a representation of Avalokiteshvara. Height 19cm. Condition A/B. Light colored, thin walled bronze with residue of gilding. Sitting on lotus throne. The facial features and the elegant folds of the sanghâti garment formed finely and lively, like the hands, too.
