The water flows over the rocks and makes a sound clear like a bell”. In the foreground, a scholar looks on the shore to a boat on the lake. Above a waterfall a traveler on a bridge. In the background the upper lake surrounded by mountains that rise in the clouds. 55.5 x 31cm, with frame 60.5 x 36cm. Inscription and signature: Xingjiang Zhang Zhitang. Seal: Zhitang. Condition A.
