2049 FRÜHE GUANYIN MIT WUNSCHPERLE. China. Yuan-/Ming-Dynastie oder früher. 14./15. Jh. Dickwandige, schwere Bronze mit dunkler Patina und Resten farbigen Lacks. Sitzend auf einem Lotosthron. In der Krone mit lang herabhängenden Bändern die kleine Darstellung eines Amitâbha, die Brust mit einem Anhänger an Juwelenbändern geschmückt. Das Gewandmuster mit Blüten graviert. Höhe 23,5cm. Zustand A/B. Provenienz: -Sammlung Carl Gustaf Thulin (1845-1918), Stockholm, durch Erbgang weiterhin in Familienbesitz. Carl Gustaf Thulin war Miteigentümer der Reederei Nordström & Thulin, sowie Generalkonsul von Italien in Stockholm. Thulin besaß eine umfangreiche Sammlung asiatischer Kunst. Den größten Teil dieser Kunstwerke erwarb er auf Reisen durch Asien im späten 19. und frühen 20.Jahrhundert. Das Foto zeigt seine Schwiegertochter Eisa Thulin in ihrem Haus in der Bellmansgatan in Stockholm in den 1940er Jahren. Im Hintergrund erkennt man die nun angebotene Guanyin China Kunsthandwerk EARLY GUANYIN WITH WISH GRANTING PEARL. China. Yuan/Ming dynasty or earlier. 14th/15th c. Thick walled, heavy bronze with dark patina and residue of lacquer pigments. Sitting on a lotus throne. In the crown with long ribbons a small representation of Amitâbha. The body adorned with juwels and a pendant. The garment decorated with engraved flower patterns. Height 23.5cm. Condition A/B. Provenance: -Collection of Carl Gustaf Tulin (1845 -1918), Stockholm. Carl Gustaf Thulin was a co-owner of the shipping company Nordström & Thulin as well as consul general of Italy in Stockholm. Thulin owned a huge collection of Asian art. He acquired the major part of the artworks during travels in Asia in the late 19th and early 20th century. The picture shows his daughter-in-law Eisa Thulin in her house in Bellmansgatan in Stockholm in the 1940s.
