When it comes to auctioning works of Impressionism, VAN HAM has enjoyed great success and can draw on a wealth of experience. We are therefore very pleased to be able to present an impressive group of drawings, prints and paintings by the artist Friedrich Kallmorgen. The lots offered in the monographic ONLINE ONLY auction all come from the renowned collection of Rolf Kaletta (1942 – 2019), who over several decades and with great passion assembled a collection with works of museum quality.
The offer thereby covers the entire artistic spectrum of the artist's oeuvre and shows, among other things, atmospheric city and landscape views, depictions of people and nature, as well as numerous studies of various subjects. The nearly 100 lots offered always testify to Kallmorgen's great talent for observing and reproducing nature and are enriched by paintings by his wife Margarethe Hormuth-Kallmorgen.
