Die Stirn ist mit einem Diadem und die Oberarme mit Bändern geschmückt, auf der Brust liegt ein breites Collier. Beide Hände sind in abhaya mudrâ erhoben. Der Mantel des kasaya breitet sich hinter seiner Gestalt aus. Höhe 59cm. Auf einem Holzsockel montiert. Zustand A/B. Provenienz: -Ostwestfälische Privatsammlung, ab Mitte 20. Jh. vor Ort erworben. STANDING BUDDHA CROWNED. Thailand. Sukhothai style. 18th/19th c. Bronze with dark patina. The head is adorned with a diadem and the upper arms with ribbons, on the chest he is wearing a broad collier. Both hands are raised in abhaya mudrâ. The mantle of the kasaya spreads out behind his figure. Height 59cm. Mounted on a wooden base. Condition A/B.
