2055 BEKRÖNTER BUDAI MIT BEGLEITERN. China. Ming-Dynastie. (1368-1644). Bronze mit dunkler Patina. Sitzend in rajalilâsana mit offenem Gewand auf einem doppelten Lotos. Mit der Rechten hält er eine Gebetskette. Kleine Figuren klettern auf seinen Knien und Schultern. Vor ihm stehen zwei Knaben, welche Manifestationen von Bodhisattva darstellen. Wenshu, einen ruyi haltend, steht neben einem kleinen Löwen, Puxian mit einer Schriftrolle neben einem winzigen Elefanten. Höhe 47cm, Breite 33,5cm, Tiefe 36cm. Zustand A/B. Sitting in rajalilâsana, laughing and with his robe opened on a double lotus. With his right hand he holds preyer beads. Small figures are climbing on his knees and shoulders. In front of him are standing two Boddhisattva as boys: Wenshu with a small lion beside him is holding a ruyi, Puxian with a tiny elephant holds a scroll. Height 47cm, width 33.5cm, depth 36cm.
