Stehende, komisch plumpe, kräftige Okame mit nacktem Oberkörper, ihr grinsendes Gesicht verrät ihre Gedanken. Boxwood, very delicately carved and polished smooth all round due to long wearing. Standing, curiously plump, strong Okame with naked upper body, her grinning face revealing her thoughts. Die für ihre frivolen Neigungen bekannte Glücksgöttin mimt die Empörung wohl nur und hofft auf großen Anklang ihrer Frisur, die eindeutig erotische Assoziation weckt. H.3,8cm. Zustand A/B. NETSUKE: SMALL OKAME HEAD. Japan. Late Meiji period / early Shôwa period. Early 20th century. Yew wood. Little Okame head, delicately carved and polished. The goddess of luck, known for her frivolous inclinations, presumably only feigns outrage and hopes to attract attention with her erotically styled hair. H.3.8cm.
