Pfirsich an einem vollplastischen Ast mit plastischen Blätterzweigen, auf einem sitzt ein fast vollplastisches, dunkel akzentuiertes Glühwürmchen (hotarô). Im Innern auf beiden Seiten in sehr feinem, teils hohem bzw. unterschnittenem Relief, auf der rechten Seite auf gerundetem Sockel ein vollrund geschnitzter Momotarô mit Hund und Affe, eine Fahne in der Linken, darauf signiert: Masakuni. Auf der anderen Seite in sehr feinem Relief Tempelanlage mit Pagode und großem Tor, minutiös geschnitzt aus dem fast weißen Zentrum des Zahnes. H.3,5cm. Peach on a sculptural branch with sculptural twigs, an almost sculptural, darkly accentuated firefly (hotarô) sitting on one of them. Inside on both sides in very delicately, partly high or undercut relief, on the right on a rounded base Momotarô with dog and monkey carved in the round, a flag in his left hand, signed there: Masakuni. On the other side in very delicate relief temple complex with pagoda and large gate, carved meticulously from the almost white core of the tooth. H.3.5cm. Signed: Masakuni on the bottom of the twig.
