Diese ziemlich ungewöhnliche Figur eines sich schwer auf die hohen Henkel des Eimers voller Sake stützenden Mannes, dessen grinsendes Gesicht einen gewissen Alkohol-Pegel verrät, ist fein geschnitzt, poliert und graviert; Haare, Kiefernmuster auf dem wulstigen Furoshiki und feine, kleine Muster auf dem Kimono sind fein und dunkel akzentuiert ebenso die Signatur. This rather unusual figure of a man leaning onto the high handles of the bucket full of Sake, is finely carved, polished and engraved. The man has a grinning face, that reveals a certain alcohol level. His hair, the pine pattern on the beaded Furoshiki and the fine, small patterns on the Kimono as well as the signature are delicately and darkly accentuated. H.4,5cm. Schöne, goldgelbe, glänzende Patina auf der Rückseite. Er hält einen Hahn mit den beiden Armen und trägt dazu einen breitkrempigem Hut auf dem Kopf. Er trägt ein fein geschupptes Gewand über Knickerbockern und Gamaschen mit schwarzen Horn-Knöpfen. H.9,6cm. Zustand A. 2410 NETSUKE: STANDING DUTCHMAN WITH COCK. Japan. Edo Period. 18th c. Stag antler, finely carved. Beautiful, gold-yellow, shiny patina on the reverse. The dutchman is standing with a cock in his arms and broad-brimmed hat on his head and wear a finely scaled garment over knickerbockers and gaiters with black horn buttons. H.9,6cm.
