Liegender, langbärtiger Ziegenbock, nach links gewandt und mit erhobenem Kopf schauend. Die Augen sind zweifach in Sentoku mit Horn-Pupille eingelegt, zwei Füße bilden das Himotoshi. Typische Arbeit des Minkô, sehr schöne kompakte Darstellung, dem Modell abgeb. in MCI auf S. 507 sehr ähnlich. H.3,9cm. Sign.: Minkô & Kakihan auf dem Oberschenkel des rechten Hinterbeins. Zustand A. Leichte Tragespuren. Provenienz: -Alte Sammlungs-Nr. 780. NETSUKE: BILLY GOAT. Japan. Edo period. Boxwood. Lying, long-bearded billy goat, turned to the left and with raised head. The eyes inlaid twice in Sentoku with horn pupils, two feet forming the Himotoshi. Characteristic work of Minkô, very beautiful compact depiction, similar to the model depicted in MCI on p. 507.
