Die Oberseite dunkel eingefärbt, die Augen mit schwarzem Horn eingelegt und einem Schimmer Rot akzentuiert. Typische Arbeit des Sukenaga. Dieses Modell, besonders die Details der Ausführung wie auch die subtile Einfärbung sprechen für ein eigenhändiges Werk des Gründers der Hida-Schule. L.4,3cm. Sign.: Sukenaga, teils ausgekratzt, vgl. Boxwood, finely carved and engraved. The upper side darkly stained, the eyes inlaid with black horn and accentuated with a red shimmer. Typical work of Sukenaga. This model, especially the details of the completion as well as the subtle coloration, suggests the singlehanded work of the founder of the Hida school. L.4.3cm.
