Date: Presumably ca. 1950/1960.
Material: 585/- yellow and white gold.
Weight: 14 g.
Measurement: Ca. 41.5 x 33.0 mm.
Diamonds: 9 brilliant-cut diamonds and diamonds in 8/8 cut, in total ca. 0.14 ct.
Gemstones: 3 cut amethyst elements ca. 9.1 - 11.0 x 11.5 - 11.8 mm, 1 cut nephrite element ca. 15.5 x 14.0 mm.
Organic Matter: 3 round seedpearls Ø ca. 3.2 - 3.4 mm, white.
Condition:
In good condition according to its age. Minor to medium scratches and small dents on the gold. The gemstones show slight abrasions. Two violets have some play, one has already been repaired. In the centre, there is a gold ball instead of a diamond. Adhesive residue is discernible on the pearls as well as on the nephrite and amethyst elements. Slight colour differences are visible at the solder joints, with oxidation visible in places.
Beschreibung:
Playful brooch in the shape of a basket with three violets. The violet blossoms consist of three cut amethysts, while a finely crafted leaf made of green nephrite completes the bouquet.
The pearls provide additional accents. The stems, the mounting and the basket of fine wires are crafted in yellow gold, while the diamonds are set in white gold. The pin is also made of white gold. Jeweller's mark "WB".
