Diamonds: 91 diamonds in old-, and rose-cut in total ca. 1.25 ct.
Gemstones: 1 route-shaped, faceted amethyst ca. 21.7 x 16.4 mm.
Description:
Historic brooch featuring an amethyst, masterfully crafted in silver and rose gold and adorned with delicate diamond-cut details. Mariage.
Condition:
According to its age in good condition. Traces of wear in the form of minor to moderate scratches. One diamond is missing. The amethyst has abrassions and minimal scuff marks. The piece consists of a base and an upper section, and has been converted into a brooch at a later date, there are distinctive solder marks. The alloy of the prong setting could not be tested.
