HISTORICAL DIAMOND-BROOCH "HORSEHOE"
Date: Presumably ca. 1910.
Material: Platinum and 585/- white gold, tested.
Weight: 9 g.
Measurement: Ca. 3.9 x 3.3 cm.
Diamonds: 107 old- and rose-cut diamonds in total ca. 2.3 ct.
Description: Fine, openwork platinum brooch in horseshoe shape with diamond setting and milgrain edges. Can be worn as a brooch or pendant.
Condition: In good condition for its age. Traces of wear in the form of minor to medium scratches and small dents visible on the gold. 3 wire bars have broken soldering points. White gold brooch was added later. Oxidation and colour differences visible in places at soldering points.
