Höfische Geschenktabatière mit Miniatur Ludwig XIV.
Datiert 1831. Miniatur nach Jean Petitot (1607-1691).

Gelbgold, Rotgold, Email und Schildpatt. Rechteckige Form mit scharniertem Deckel. Auf Deckel hinter Glas zentral Medaillon mit
Bildnis Ludwig XIV umringt von reichem reliefiertem Rankendekor. 2,5x8,5x6cm. Ca. 145g. Zustand B. Auf Deckel bez. 'Louis XIV by Petitot' und 'From the Collection of George 4th 1831´.
Pariser Einfuhrstempel 1864-1893 (Rosenberg Nr.6614).

Provenienz:
- Laut Umschrift aus der Sammlung George IV. (1762-1830).
- Deutsche Privatsammlung.
