Herkunft: Indien.
Datierung: Ca. 9./10. Jh.
Technik: Grauer Sandstein mit Patinahaut.
Beschreibung: Die Gemahlin des Hindugottes Shiva steht in trihanga, einer Art Kontrapost. Mit ihrer
Rechten hält sie eine Lotosknospe an ihrer Schulter, die Linke ist in lola hasta-Geste mit
den Fingerspitzen zu Boden gerichtet. Sie ist mit einem eng anliegenden dhoti bekleidet,
trägt eine hohe Krone und ist reich geschmückt.
Maße: Höhe 62cm.
Rahmen/Sockel: Mit einem Zapfen in einem Sockel stehend.
