Diamonds: 1 old-cut diamond ca. 1.67 ct, 8 brilliant- and octagonal-cut diamonds in total ca. 0.12 ct.
Organic Matter: 1 round Akoya cultured pearl, Ø ca. 7.8 mm, white, growth characteristics.
Description: Curved Toi-et-Moi ring in white gold with an old-cut diamond in a bezel setting, which faces an Akoya cultured pearl, as well as hand-engraved ornaments on the sides, milgrain decorations and small diamonds in cut settings. The so-called Toi-et-Moi rings (from the French for "you and me") were made famous in the 19th century by Napoleon Bonaparte, who chose such a ring as a symbol of his love for Joséphine.
Condition: Signs of wear in the form of light to heavy scratches and small dents. Ring shank has already been resized, joint visible. 1 small bump on the old cut diamond. Adhesive residue on the pearl.
