Description:
The draft for the sculpture dates back to 1995. This specimen was cast in
the same year.
The work is from an edition of 12 + 2 copies.
In the 1990s, Waldemar Otto developed a new modeling technique. Abstract, highly reduced torsos emerge, appearing as shells or open envelopes. The artist is now less concerned with the content of his works than with the their technical processing.
