Description:
The work comes from an edition of 12 + 4 copies.
In the 1980s, a group of works called pedestal torsos emerged, characterized by the smooth transition from the pedestal to the torso. Waldemar Otto addresses a well-known theme and problem in sculpture. He also began experimenting with patination of his works from the mid-1980s onwards. The classic patina is replaced by a reddish casting skin.
