With signature pieces you can tell instantly who designed and crafted the exquisite jewellery. This fully applies to the highlight of this sale: the impressive diamond ring comes from the renowned jeweller Hemmerle, a company that has given the high-carat fancy diamond a sculptural design and skilfully presents it with contrasting materials. Characteristic designs by Bulgari and Hornemann complement the premium offerings. Additionally, an untreated sapphire from Sri Lanka stands out with its unique lotus colour. In the fashion range, Louis Vuitton presents an item of pure luxury with a champagne case that will make fashionistas look forward to clinking glasses in style: Cheers!
The fancy diamond ring from the upcoming jewellery sale combines two special features: on the one hand it is an extraordinary fancy diamond of 15.28 carats! The gemstone whose green-yellow colour contains a shade of brown-grey is already outstanding in itself on account of its rarity (estimate: €400,000–600,000). On the other hand it was designed in a straightforward way and made by Hemmerle, the renowned Munich-based company that has a rich history and has stood for supreme craftsmanship and the innovative use of a vast range of materials for over 125 years. This signature piece plays with the clear, reduced lines and the seemingly contrasting materials of diamond and brass, thus masterfully highlighting the unique character and brilliance of the fancy diamond.
The diamond bracelet with 300 cut diamonds of about 15 carats total is a typical masterpiece from Hornemann (estimate: €6,500–8,000). Unmistakable in its clear design language, it is characterized by timeless elegance and supreme goldsmithing.
Bulgari’s Parentesi collection is one of the characteristic designs from the legendary Italian company and was inspired by the cobblestones of Rome. In this coloured stone diamond bracelet the iconic design is complemented by two bright rubies and a sugarloaf-cut emerald which Bulgari uses in reference to the domes of the Roman cityscape (estimate: €15,000–25,000).
For its Monete Collection, Bulgari uses ancient coins as a central design element. As a result, each piece forms a link between modern jewellery and Roman antiquity. The use of different historical coins lends each creation its unique character. The coin-sapphire-diamond ear clips on offer now thus also preserve a small part of cultural heritage (estimate: €12,000–18,000).
The loose Padparadscha sapphire, which is extremely rare to begin with, will be presented in an impressive size of over 17 carats (estimate: €50,000–100,000). The extraordinary gemstone from Sri Lanka is named after the Sinhalese word meaning “lotus blossom” or “lotus colour”. Its delicate orange-pink hue, combined with remarkable transparency, makes this sapphire a genuine rarity as it is scarcely to be found on the auction market.
An extraordinary highlight from the fashion range is a rare and luxurious Louis Vuitton champagne case in excellent condition (estimate: €5,000–7,000). This exquisite collector’s item with its unmistakable design comes with a champagne cooler and two glasses and perfectly expresses French savoir vivre.
